I have had my charger for a few months now. I have always noticed that the charging data lags behind for at least a few minutes, e.g. its charging but the app doesn’t say it is until a few minutes have passed and the same thing happens when it shuts off. I have also had some occasions where the app isn’t recording a charge at all when it is in fact charging. I charged overnight last night and while it worked the app didn’t see it at all.
It’s annoying and I’m wondering if the app just doesn’t work or is something wrong with mine?

Try and reinstall the app for starters. Alss, turn the unit off at the circuit breaker, wait a min, turn it back on. I had the same issue at one point and one of these addressed it.
So it turns out it disconnected from my wifi for some reason. I connected it again and its working again. It still has the lag but I gather that is normal per support.
The lag is normal in my experience. Our Evnex takes its time to start a charge session including communications with the EV but that does ensure that our Paladin HWC diverter gets first dibs on ‘excess’ solar generation due to it being far quicker to respond to available electrons.
