As more and more people are using HA, it would be good to see an official Home Assistant integration.
I might tweak this slightly. The community maintained HA plugin works fine, it’s limited by the absence of a local API. I want to poll at least every 30 seconds, which likely isn’t scalable in server infrastructure without a subscription.
For the avoidance of doubt, I will not entertain paying for a subscription to access this data.
Matter version 1.3 added EVSEs. Adding standards compliant Matter support to the E2 would add support for every modern home automation system - without the additional cost of per-platform support resources.
Also came to see if there is local home assistant support for EvNex. ( 2025 September).
The big question is, can this data be retrieved over Bluetooth, personally I use a CT clamp to measure the power locally and the api is good enough for controlling the functions.
Posting here in feb 2026 to see if this is still working with HA. About to pull the trigger (it’s in my cart on the website) but if there’s no HA integration at all this is a real dealbreaker for me.

Also keen on HA integration even though the unofficial seems to work OK. I would prefer to see priority on other app improvments as a priority like being able to select a date range to match my electricity bill rather that just 1st to end of month.
New version of the unofficial integration released yesterday - hopefully that will work for you @jischaub.
If any devs (from evnex or otherwise) want to contribute go for it. I’ve also offered to transfer it to the company if evnex wish to take it on.
Thanks @hardbyte, much appreciated. I could integrate the charger with HA. My main idea --not sure if will be possible-- is to create an automation or similar to Lock/Unlock and prevent unautorized charging (the charger is outside and anyone has access). I’m aware it can be done through the APP but my family will not do it so I’m hoping it can be achive via HA.
