Support for Dynamic EVSE aka import control in Queensland

Hi there,

Does this charger support dynamic import control (Dynamic EVSE) as stipulated in Version 4 of the QECM (Queensland Electricity Connection Manual) and is it certified to connect to the Energex network using this mode of operation?

If yes, how it this accomplished, via a direct connection from the the Evnex device to Energex’s OCPP endpoint or is the data routed from device to a cloud service and then to Energex’s OCPP endpoint?

No, we currently aren’t certified for Dynamic EVSE connections in Queensland. We’re looking into it at the moment but haven’t committed to a timeline to achieve certification. We’d choose the cloud-to-cloud approach when we do look to do it.

Kind regards,

Tom

Glad I searched before posting the same query

I take this is still a work in progress?

nb. Qld dynamic import control is the bane of my life, a nightmare to navigate for high export batteries.
