Charging a BYD Shark, constantly limited to 3.9kw
Charger states its limited due to charger temperature ??
Charger is not hot to touch, its about 20 degrees in garage and colder outside

The limited by charger temperature message is related to the internal temperature and it is informative rather than a warning. Under load, the internal temperature will raise with time. All AC chargers have internal temperature sensors and depending on various factors such as air circulation, ambient temperature, charging current and session duration it might need to de-rate the current slightly to keep it on optimum operating temperature.
We will be able to check your charger’s logs for any red flags and update its firmware if needed to see if this will make any difference.
