Dual E2 Charger Behaviour

We have 2x E2 Plus chargers. I guess you can call one the master, as that has the CT before the meter, and the other slave charger is in the same group, with no CT. We have 2 properties, that combined have ~21kW of panels, 16kW of inverters, and 57kWh of home batteries. All on the same grid connection.

For the most part is works pretty well, but I have noticed a bit quirky behaviour.

So right now, are getting 16kW off the roof, Solar diversion is active, but the split between the 2 chargers is uneven. The slave is doing 6.9kW, and the master is doing 4.6kW.

The 2 cars charging are an Atto 3 on the slave, and a Tesla M3P on the master.

I have also noticed that the Atto3 when it is fully charged, will periodically blip on charging for about a minute or so. If the Tesla is charging at 7kW, and we are also exporting at 5kW, so plenty of excess power. The master will still derate to 3.5kW, the slave will start charging at around 3.5kW. The master will take several minutes to recover back to 7kW after the Atto3 has stopped. At which point it may do another blip.

Even though we have plenty of excess export, that it didn’t need to dip. I hope this behaviour can be improved?

Thank you for this feedback. I’ll get our hardware team to investigate.

Kind regards,

Tom
