I have an E2 charger which is over 12 months old. When charging from the grid using “Charge Now” App option, if I want to stop charging from the grid, I press the “Stop”. To then get the E2 to charge from a schedule setup to use only solar, I have to physically go to the car remove the charging plug and reinsert it to then utilise solar. Can and should I be able to do the same from the app without needing to remove the plug?
If you want to cancel Charge Now behaviour you can do so tapping the Cancel button under the Charge Now header on the app. This will cause the session to revert to normal behaviour without having to unplug.
Conversely when a session is stopped the cable must be removed before starting a new session.
